Michigan's Adventure

Last weekend we headed for Muskegon and went to Michigan's Adventure. Kamber went to my parents house as she didn't want to go to the park because it was for casted to rain. The girls loved the rides. For most of the day it was cold and rainy but the day ended beautiful. The girls wanted to get a cartoon caricature done of themselves we had fun with that. For some reason these pictures didn't upload very well.. I will try again tomorrow and see if it uploads any better. Needless to say we had a great weekend..

Allen's Birthday

Allen's Birthday

Allen's birthday was last week so he was able to pick what he wanted to do for the weekend. On Friday he went to work and came home to Lauren really sick so I made dinner. He open a couple of presents and we spent a quiet night at home. Saturday morning he woke up to breakfast in bed and then he wanted to spend the day at the beach so we went to Muskegon. We had a beautiful day at the beach with our friends the Openshaws. We went to one of our favorite chili dog places in Muskegon and then headed for home.

My birthday

My day started out with breakfast in bed. Yum Allen fixed my favorite oatmeal and then the girls all started giving me birthday cards. Allen proceeds to hand me this big box all wrapped up. I was very excited to open it and see what was in. To my amazement it was the camera that I have been drooling over at Costco. I was so excited I think that my mouth hung open for like 5 minutes. Allen left for work and the girls and I just hung out while he was gone. I just kind of hung out and read a book for most of the day. Allen gets home from work early on Mondays so we went to a restaurant named Kobe it is my favorite. (It is a Japanese steak house) The girls loved watching them cook the food in front of them and I loved watching them and of course taking pictures with my new camera. We left the restaurant and decided last minute to go and watch a 3-D movie with the girls (Up) it was a lot of fun. It gave Lauren a bad head ache and Madison couldn't see the movie very well with her amblopia. (which is a bummer) All in All it was a wonderful day. I am very grateful for my awesome husband and wonderful girls...

Ok so I am a looser.. I am really having a hard time keeping up with my
blog.. I hope that you all can forgive me. Things that have happened over the past few months are: Madison's baptism, girls getting out of school, going to visit my brother Dave and his sweet family, the girls taking their first plane trip, going to girls camp with Kami, going to activity Day's day camp with the three middle girls, going to Pentwater with some really good friends of ours over the 4th, going to Grandma Smith's to play in her hot tub and injoy the county life (peaceful), hanging out with my family , watching my girls blossom into beautiful young womenand spend time with the love of my life (Allen). Needless to say we have had a great summer already and we are not even half way through..I LOVE SUMMER no schedule and laying out in the sun!!!! I will see what pics Kamber has on this computer so hopefuly I can attatch some pictures.. We love you and really appreciate your love and friendships..

Madison

Hello everyone:) I am sorry that I haven't posted anything in the past few weeks life is just busy for us. I do have to say that Madison turned 8 last week Thursday and we are very excited because she will be getting baptized on Sunday with my sister Anna. We are very excited for both of the girls.. I will post some pictures soon..
